Motherhood gets better with venting.

It's hard to be a mom, or not to be a mom.

Showcase your work too. For profit or not for profit.

Maybe if the COVID lockdown never happened, I never would've experienced what it's like to be a burnt-out mom. No, that's probably not true. I think I would've been burnt-out at some point, because mothering is very hard. Yet, admitting burnout feels like a personal failure.

Regardless, as I stumbled around trying to cope with burnout (while on active duty, so to speak), I discovered that I needed to have an outlet for what I think and feel. It was also felt uplifting, for me, if I could create a venting space for other moms, and women, because it is hard to be and not be, a mom.

And then I thought, if we support each other on our parenting journey, why not also use this community to promote our work outside of parenting.

Mamahood is a channel for women to share videos about their lives and their work. Each video contributor keeps 100% of any revenue arising from their videos promoting their work, or from their affiliate marketing. If the channel becomes monetized, 97% of YouTube's view-based revenues go to the video contributor.
